1. Revelry and Honor is a guild that puts great weight on respectable play. If you do something that puts the reputation of the guild into question, you risk losing your membership. Training, begging, scamming, kill stealing, ninja looting, and any other shady behavoir will not be tolerated.
2. We are a family guild, and in that vein, our guild chat is mostly polite. An f-bomb here and there is one thing, but if chat moves past the typical comfort level, you may be asked to tone it down. I'm not going to put any concrete limits on chat, because honestly, I feel it's something that can be flexible a little bit, depending on who might be online (clean it up if kids are on), what the context of the chat is, and other random variables that are too tedious to try to list. To me, it's not so much the chat as it is an issue of respect among members. If someone asks to tone it down, respect their request. On the other hand, don't make a federal case out of chat just for the sake of trying to claim the title of "Officer Clean Chat."
3. If you have an issue in guild, you have two choices: Talk to me (or to an officer), or suck it up. Going around to other members in an effort to create drama is not an option. I will never dismiss a concern or a member's issue, and while I may not end up deciding in your favor, I'll always listen, take into consideration the concerns, and do my best to maintain fairness in the guild. I have no patience, though, for people who try to pitch their gripe to members instead of the leadership. So if you choose that path you may find yourself without a guild to whine to!
4. I believe the guild is a team, so if you are a member in Revelry and Honor, you are expected to be as focused on your guildmates as you are on yourself. If you have visions of your toons name, lit up with flashing bulbs that become so bright they explode into flames, because the name is so powerful, you probably should look elsewhere for a home.
5. The buck stops here, and here = a silly ranger named Jaye. There are always a lot of grey areas that aren't covered by guild policies. I'm going to have final say in any touchy issues. Hopefully there won't be too many of those!
